FRENER & REIFER FRENER & REIFER is responsible for the complete design-engineering, fabrication and installation of all the glass facades on the second floor of the new Duka AG HQ as well as the entrance hall.
Duka, Europe's leading manufacturer of high-quality shower cubicles, is constructing its new headquarters in Bressanone. FRENER & REIFER is realising the aluminum transom/mullion glass facades, the SG courtyard facade and the glass entrance facade at the main entrance of the new building.
Scope of work
The contract for the facade of the new Duka headquarters in Bressanone comprises approx. 3,000 m².
- Aluminum transom/mullion facade with high sound protection value triple glazing
- Venetian blinds on the south side of the building
- SG Duka World courtyard facade
- Glass facade of large entrance hall (height 6 m) incl. vestibule with two automatic sliding glass doors
Innovations / Challenges
- Design-engineering and fabrication of the complete 2nd floor glass facade and the entrance hall carried out in only a few months
- Short installation period of approx. 4 months
