FRENER & REIFER 2022 Sustainability Report

FRENER & REIFER recently published its sustainability report for 2022, sending a clear signal of its commitment to sustainable action and business.

"We are aware that our business activities have a wide range of environmental impacts and we take responsibility for this," says Andrea Borgato, CEO of FRENER & REIFER Holding AG. "With the publication of the sustainability report, we would like to provide a comprehensive insight into our activities, goals and actions to continuously reduce our environmental footprint. As a company, we can and want to make the construction and operation of buildings more climate-friendly, combining commercial efficiency with environmental sensitivity."

As a result of the work on the report, the company has set up an internal sustainability team to work on the key areas of action in close cooperation with external experts from September onwards. The team is tasked with defining ambitious and meaningful actions based on thorough analyses of social, economic and environmental risks – and following up by systematically implementing these actions.

"Our goal is to increase the recycling rate of materials and further minimise the use of resources. By establishing an after-sales department that promotes the specialised maintenance and repair of facades, we are extending the service life of facades," emphasises Frank Osanna, Head of Opportunity and Quality Management. In addition, the company is increasing its investment in the professional and personal development of its employees. "Committed employees are the foundation of our company's success. Their qualifications in all areas enable us to constantly develop innovative solutions and continue to push the boundaries of what is technically possible."
