Rischart’s Backhaus is a culinary institution in Munich. The traditional bakery business run by the Müller-Rischart family has a history going back almost 140 years and has 15 sales outlets in the best locations in the city.
They have chosen to locate their new company headquarters above the Oktoberfest meadows on the Theresienhöhe. The total area of over 25,000m² will feature a glazed bakehouse, office space, a hotel area and a customer experience world, as well as company-owned apartments for employees.
The design is by Munich architects Kiessler, who were also responsible for the current headquarters. FRENER & REIFER was commissioned with the design-engineering, fabrication and installation of the entire metal and glass stick system facade.
Scheduled completion is 2023.
