Hugo Häring Prize, Regional Association Heidelberg, 2014 for the
"Haus der Astronomie"


The "Haus der Astronomie" has been awarded with the Hugo-Häring Prize of the Association of German Architects (BDA), the most import- ant architecture award at the regional level. It was selected from 59 participating projects and nominated for the selection procedure for the Baden-Württemberg Hugo-Häring Prize 2015.

The Hugo-Häring Prize has been awarded to a building, a group of buildings, an example of urban planning or a civil engineering structure in Baden-Württemberg every three years since 1969.

The doubly-curved metal sheet facade, the strip windows in special minimo_FR design and the integrated sun protection system were com- pletely planned, manufactured and installed by FRENER & REIFER.
